About Curriculum

Curriculum in the Wisconsin Technical College system is designed around a performance-based model using the WIDS software. In this educational approach, learners are the most important part of instruction. When designing performance-based instruction, developers carefully identify what learners need to be able to do at the end of the course. Next they determine how learners can show that they have learned these skills. Finally, they plan learning activities that help learners develop the skills.
